Technology in this machine:

BTI engineers and manufactures a complete line of manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic precision measurement and testing equipment for all brake rotors, brake drums, and related assemblies and components.

Traditional equipment for this application includes balancing equipment, dimensional gages, eddy current crack detection systems, surface finish measurement equipment, functional test stands, specialized test systems, and resonant frequency measurement systems. Our standard offerings include patented combinations of balancing, gaging, surface finish measurement, and crack detection — all in one machine. In addition, we specialize in standalone single technology equipment. Typical correction methods for balancing include milling, weight addition by welding, and weight insertion. Cycle times range from 60 to 300 parts per hour.
